This piece features a broken chain underneath white. The broken chain represents detaching from your previous self, previous thinking, previous behavior and, previous way of being. The white represents starting anew and having a clean slate or “Tabula Rasa”

Self actualization is achievable, but you must believe it to be and be intentional about it. To reach that level of the hierarchy, sometimes you may require a clean slate as you experience the different phases of life.
